Throughout May, KITCHEN – Grain Store Unleashed: As fans of all things green, we’re keen to check out this newly opened pop-up restaurant at the Zetter Townhouse, a new venture of Chef Bruno Loubet. Although not a purely vegetarian menu, it features experimental dishes aplenty with vegetables stealing the show. We’ll take the pea pancake with poached egg, crispy pancetta and balsamic syrup for breakfast and pickled flowers & rhubarb, green apple purée, bergamot emulsion with wild sea trout for lunch please!

Throughout May, KITCHEN – The Good Life Eatery: When news broke that The Good Life Eatery would be opening a second restaurant in Marylebone (literally around the corner of our store) following their first site in Chelsea, we could barely contain our excitement! It’s one of our favourite spots to grab superfood salads, vegan and gluten-free treats (like their chocolate avocado mousse) and a lovely atmosphere to hang out with fellow healthy foodies. Throughout May, WORLD – Rooftop Film Club: Call us nostalgic, but we’ve been obsessed with outdoor cinemas since that scene in Grease (with Danny and Sandy – yes, you know the one!). Rooftop Film Club is probably the closest thing to it in London, except it takes place against the urban skyline in some of London’s most loved buildings and only once Summer lands. Blankets and refreshments provided. Fancy dress, optional.

2nd May, BODY – Reach out for Nepal: We love yoga with a cause. Following the recent earthquake in Nepal, Focus Yoga is holding a fundraising yoga workshop at the Redmond Community Centre, with all proceeds going to the Nepalese people in need. 2nd May, BODY – Electric Run: Possibly one of the most fun and brightest (neon and glowsticks are mandatory) runs on earth, the US hit event Electric Run descends in the UK and brings an ‘Electric Wonderland’ to Wembley Park. 7th May, WORLD – Textile Dyeing Workshop: A fan of the DYI? Learn how to use natural plant and flower dyes to create stunning designs during London Craft Week. It will be hosted at ‘The Mine’: the former subterranean perfume laboratory housed underneath Floris on Jermyn St, so definitely worth a visit.

8th – 10th May, BODY – SPIN, the Urban Cycle show: A must for urban cyclists and bike lovers! If you’re a fan of the two wheels, head out to the Sorting Office in the West End and check out some of the best brands across the cycling spectrum, attend workshops and sample gourmet street food. Also a fun occasion to meet new like-minded friends, or more: after all, one of the highlights is cycle speed dating. Hop on the ride!

9th May – Strictly for the Birds?: You don’t have to be a birdwatcher to enjoy this walk, but if you bring binoculars you should see plenty of birdlife during this free 20km walk in the heart of Hackney via the Old River Lea and Walthmastow Marshes: from urban to countryside. There will be a knowledgeable guide on hand too.

11th – 15th May, MIND – Social Enterprise Festival: Are you involved in projects for social change or would like to be? Don’t miss this free event created by the University of Greenwich! You’ll be learning about social change, social innovation and social enterprise thanks to workshops, talks, one-on-one mentoring and challenges.
