Well, it’s fair to say #organicbeauties that June is packed with wellbeing activities across the range! We wouldn’t expect less from London – it’s the start of Summer after all. Here are our top picks in wellbeing, beauty and culture. Ladies, take part!

Throughout June, BEAUTY – Midweek Facial Offer: Fancy an organic skin facial to prep skin ahead of the Summer months? June is the time! Throughout June, WORLD – Behind This Wall: We’re huge fans of The Oval Space in Bethnal Green for its music venue and beautiful terrace, so we’ll be making the most of it this Summer thanks to this residency hosted by Behind This Wall. Expect live music, record fairs, Voga (that’s vogue-ing and yoga for you) classes, oyster happy hours (with £1 oysters) and even a ‘medicinal mixology’ bar. Runs til the end of September.

Throughout June, WORLD – Full of Spice Festival: Fancy an alternative night out? Explore Kew Gardens after dark and make the most of balmy Summer evenings! The festival explores how the journey of spices around the world since the start of the spice trade in the in the 15th Century has shaped our modern world.  Look out for the ‘Full of Spice Lates’ and enjoy a botanical cocktail in the Gin Garden, where each cocktail’s spice blend tells a place-based tale in a specific geographic location. Runs until September 6th.

Throughout June til 31st October – London Riviera: London’s Southbank next to Tower Bridge is transformed into a ‘riviera’ all summer long, bringing together free entertainment, fresh pressed juices and delicious for from CERU Restaurant. Look out for supper clubs and weekend brunches in the sun. Fun times! 

6th June – 31st August, WORLD – Festival of Love: Feeling romantic? Southbank is celebrating a ‘Summer of Love’. Explore the most universal theme of all, by way of performances, music, love-themed activities, exhibitions, talks and events at London’s Southbank. Many of the events are free.

14th June, BODY – Barre & Brunch at Ace Hotel: Two of our favourite institutions Frame and Hoi Polloi have come together to bring us special 60 minute summer classes of Frame Barre (a brilliant ballet barre and fitness fusion class) followed by a healthy brunch, on Ace Hotel’s hip rooftop space. Count us in!

17th– 21st June, KITCHEN – London Taste Festival: The foodie festival par excellence returns in the capital. This year, look out for The Wild Kitchen –a rustic and raw food theatre showcasing back-to-basics cooking techniques, fire pit included. Natural beauties and healthy foodies Amelia Freer, Deliciously Ella and Natasha Corrett  will be joining in on the fun too.

18th June, WELLBEING – Sweet Virtues Mindful Meditation with Sweaty Betty Richmond: Did someone say ‘chocolate meditation’? Yes: it’s a thing! One that we can’t wait to try as Sweet Virtues are some of our favourite raw chocolate creations, and they will be listing the benefits on mindful eating and mouth watering chocolate at Sweaty Betty. Not that we needed proof, but… see you there!

18th June, BODY – Bollywood Dance Class: Are you a closet Bollywood fan? This is your chance to give it a go! This Bollywood banger workshop hosted by dance innovator Jennie Jethwani at Wac Arts will have your head and hips bopping and your blood bumping. Laughter and fun guaranteed!

19th– 21st June, WORLD – GROW London: Feel like your outside area could do with a little makeover? No matter how big or small your garden, GROW London is an inspiring day out where you can gather inspiration on how to transform your outside space. We’re particularly excited about the ‘Bees in the City’ talk!

24th June, KITCHEN – My New Roots by Sarah Britton Supper Club: The founder of blog and best-seller My New Roots (a brilliant cookbook – find out more here) is hosting a supper club featuring a decadent four course dinner. If you’ve been drooling all over her delicious recipes, now’s your time to try her food and meet the woman herself.

24th June, WELLBEING – Plant Remedies for Summer at Chelsea Physics Garden: Fascinated by plants? This practical workshop will cover the propagation of wild herbs, sustainable harvesting and how home remedies can be made out of ‘weeds’; from hay fever tea to healing salves! There will be the opportunity to make some remedies yourself on the day.

You’re not alone – A number of factors including blood sugar management, stress and hormone balance govern how we create and utilise energy and can lead to an ‘energy crises’.
