From plant-based dining to yoga al-fresco, read on for our pick of what’s on in the world of wellbeing this week….


3rd September

2pm-5pm: With a focus on increasing confidence and the tools we can use to boost our own, this class hosted by The School Of Life draws on aspects of psychology, philosophy, music, the body, anthropology and mathematics to assist us in identifying insecurities and  feelings of low self-esteem. The difference between confidence and arrogance alongside the concept of increasing confidence as a means of making the world a better place to live will also be questioned and explored.

5th September

7am-7pm: The newest addition to Portobello’s Golborne Road, The Penny Market is a charitable initiative incepted to support the local community and promote ethical living. Providing a fantastic array of organic fresh food, cold pressed juices from brands such as Raw to Door, superfood stalls and for those with a sweet tooth – handmade and artisan sweets from Cupcakes and Shhht, for every two pennies taken as profit, a penny is donated to local charities and social enterprise projects. We love!

7th September

11am-5pm: If you’re yet to explore Hackney’s Village Green Market then this Sunday is the perfect opportunity. Arrive there for 11am to enjoy a free outdoor yoga class on the village green before checking out the assortment of local talent supplying hand crafted home-goods, food, art and all that’s in between.

4pm: Launched last month by healthy foodie bloggers Nutritiously Natasha, Plant Based_Pixie and Gloriously Delicious, the ongoing series of Plant Based Picnics will be continuing this September for a day of delicious food in one of the newest and most talked about raw food havens Tanya’s Cafe. Pack a picnic hamper with your favourite plant-based goodies and get excited to swap recipes, sample others plant-based creations and spend your Sunday in good company.

10th September

8am-10am: Head down to Planet Organic in Torrington Place to celebrate the launch of their new ‘Nutritional Therapy With’ series in collaboration with nutritional therapist Eve Kalinik. Try out her healthy, raw and delicious breakfast that will be on offer along with juices and tea before for a nourishing start to your work day.


Monday 8th – Freer Food Delivery launches

Designed to assist busy individuals in cleaning up their nutrition to power through Autumn, one of our favourite nutritional therapists Amelia Freer has developed a 7 day Summers End Clean Food Meal Delivery to reset post- Summer indulgences and strengthen immunity in time for the colder months. Featuring 7 days of freshly prepared organic, gluten, dairy and refined sugar free meals – this healthy and delicious plan will reset your inner cravings and set you up with the perfect head start to your Winter health regime. Although, we are ruing Summers departure, good food always softens the blow!

Tuesday 9th –Wild Food Raw Gourmet Pop-up Dinner

The fourth in Wild Food Cafe’s series of raw pop-up dinners that take place each month around the full moon is hosted by founder and executive chef Joel Gazdar whose speciality in raw and wild cuisine has been 15 years in the making. A dinner designed to align us with natures natural rhythm, this month’s dinner is dedicated to pure nourishment, divine enjoyment, slowing down, good conversations and diving deep into delicious plant-passionate possibilities.


The next release of tickets to pop-up supper club The Art Of Dining that offers artfully created meals and settings by Moro trained Chef Ellen Parr and Artist set designer Alice Hodge. Their latest series providing a dining experience celebrates colour and its affect on our emotions. Colours can be soothing or stimulating, uplifting or sinister and with this unique dining experience The Art Of Dining will stimulate your different senses – taste, vision, hearing, touch and smell – in an exploration of colour by course.
