NATURAL SKINCARE PRODUCTS TO PACK FOR INFLIGHT & TRAVEL
Posted in Content Beauty

Ready for your next holiday? Before you hit the ‘out of office’ button, read our guide to ensure you’ve ticked off all the natural beauty essentials on your packing list. Sunburn, windburn, dehydrated aeroplane skin… This list will help you avoid any holiday beauty crisis!

Packing

Travel Skincare

Unless you’re a naturally gifted packer, chances are that editing down your beauty essentials is the most time consuming part of packing – it is for us! To make things easier (and to travel lighter), ditch your full size natural skincare products in favour of a natural beauty travel kit or two that features all your essentials for face, body and hair.

Travel Haircare

Sea and sun can wreak havoc on your lovely locks (learn more about natural sun protection for hair). For a week or longer holiday, we gravitate towards the Less is More travel minis to step up our haircare routine. If you’re headed for the beach, pack their Lindengloss Collection. The Lindengloss Shampoo and Conditioner in combination protect hair from the elements. The Finishing Spray even has a built in UV protector thanks to key ingredient wheat germ oil. Curly hair? Go for Boucléme. Conscious of preserving your colour? Opt for Rahua’s Color Full Shampoo and Conditioner. Shop all natural haircare travel and trial sets.

Travel Body & Bath

For the sun shy, or if you are still building your tan, use Prtty Peaushun Skin Tight Lotion on face and body for an instant faux holiday glow. It shows off a lovely tan and also makes a mean after-sun soother! Find more travel body & bath options.

Travel Perfumes

As for natural scents, we’ll be packing Abel Odor cult fragrances which come in a travel-friendly 15ml bottle. Can’t decide which fragrance to take? The Abel Perfume Discovery Set is complete with all seven scents of the range in 1.5ml vials so you don’t have to choose!

In-Flight Natural Beauty

Many of us are familiar with post-holiday blues, cold and flu. Don’t get caught out this year; start boosting your immunity before or inflight with Wild Nutrition Immune Support. As an extra precaution, we like to carry the de Mamiel Altitude Oil with us; an anti-bacterial and anti-viral decongestant blend of essential oils that helps keep inflight bugs at bay. At the same time, this do-it-all tonic calms nerves and those dreaded take-off and touchdown jitters.

For skin, mist the Amly Radiance Boost Facial Mist or Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence during your journey to keep skin hydrated. Both of these are packed with hyaluronic acid, which helps beat the effects of recycled air. Take a carry-on skin balm like Lina Hanson’s Global Treasures or a pot of Bybi Beauty Babe Balm. Both can be used as a moisturiser and mask on a long-haul flight. The latter can even double as a cleanser! See all jet lag natural remedies, from sleep aids to skincare boosters.

Natural Beauty Holiday Essentials

Landed at your destination? We may sound like a broken record, but stick with us – eat your greens on holiday. One of our favourite nutritionist tips is to keep up the dark leafy greens consumption in the sun. Filled with powerful, natural antioxidants, they help with skin repair from UV damage should you catch the sun.

On the beach, keep yourself protected with a natural and reef-safe sunscreen. Don’t miss our guide on natural self-tanning as well. To avoid sun damage, be mindful of how you apply your sunscreen. Find our tips for application here.
