LEAVE-IN TREATMENTS
While shampooing and conditioning are ingrained in our hair beauty routine, leave-in treatments are often forgotten. Dumped onto the ‘not-sure-what-to-do-with-this’ shelf or abandoned – we see this a lot.
But don’t give it up just yet. A good natural leave-in conditioner can do wonders for your hair’s condition. For instance, if you locks are still frizzy and dry after your shower, it can lock up extra moisture. If your hair is fine and often tangled, it can help detangle and remove residues that weigh it down. The key is finding the right one for you and your hair type! These are our to-go options:
John Masters Green Tea and Calendula Leave In Conditioning Mist: Great for normal to dry hair, we love giving a spritz of this to help hair stay silky and smooth. An ultra lightweight formula, concentrate on your ends when applying after showering or to dry hair. It won’t leave hair looking dull or oily and isn’t overly scented.
Bouclème Curl Conditioner: Trouble keeping your curls in check? In a constant war with frizz? If you have drier thicker curl types, this is our natural haircare leave in conditioner of choice. Apply generously to soaking wet hair after cleansing, and partly rinse out. It replenishes much-needed moisture and protects it from environmental stressors.
Intelligent Nutrients Leave-In Conditioner: If your hair is on the fine side and prone to fizz, you’ll love this treatment as it doesn’t weigh down hair! It’s also ideal on colour treated hair as the Intellimune oil helps rebuild hair strength from the inside. Ideal for styling blow dries, diffusing curls or as mask.
Content Tip: Create your very own hydrating Content DIY hair mask by mixing the leave in-conditioner with a few fingers of Essence Of Eden Premium Virgin raw organic coconut oil. Massage on hair and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before rinsing and revealing silky-smooth locks.
HAIR MASKS
Between styling and environmental factors, we put our hair through a lot of strain daily! So take 15 minutes out of your weekly beauty routine to give your hair some TLC with one of our favourite natural haircare masks to repair and hydrate.
Rahua Hair Mask Omega-9: We know a ‘quick fix’ when we see one. This is it! When our locks are feeling particularly ‘beaten up’, we like to use this ultra-conditioning treatment. It goes straight to the roots. The Ungurahua Oil, rich in omega 9, is made of tiny molecules that penetrate into the core of each strand to fortify hair. Plus, it has a calming aromatherapeutic effect, thanks to lavender and eucalyptus.

The moisturising hibiscus helps maintain healthy scalp. Cupuacu butter helps treat dry scalp conditions like eczema & psoriasis. Use as a conditioner or simply apply and leave on for up to 20 minutes on wet hair as a treatment before rinsing.
