Posted in Content Beauty

One of our favourite industry awards is Psychologies Magazine’s Positive Beauty Awards. Based on a combined expert and reader vote, these awards are a yearly celebration of a mix of mainstream brands with ethical companies and enterprises that cater for every woman – supporting diversity in women of all ages and nationalities. We love it!

As well as sitting on the Positive Beauty Panel of Experts we were also excited to find so many of our #greenbeauty brands seen amongst the winners, taking some of the most prestigious titles. Find out the winners below…

2014 Positive Body Icon  – Taking out the title of Positive Body Icon is none other than Intelligent Nutrients founder, the late Horst Rechelbacher. Possessing a belief that cosmetics could be made with planet and people-friendly technologies, Intelligent Nutrients launched in 2011 as a non-profit enterprise, with all earnings donated to medical research and sustainable and organic foundations. Best Makeup – We were especially excited to see two of our organic makeup favourites RMS Beauty and ILIA Beauty taking out the joint title of ‘Best Makeup’, rivaling the mainstream brands. RMS Beauty’s Living Luminizer was described as putting ‘other silicon laden products to shame’, whilst Un’ Cover-Up was commended for its ability to melt ‘seamlessly into skin’. ILIA Beauty was praised for its ‘seriously cool lipsticks and lip crayons’, with their organic mascara and Fade Into You Finishing Powder receiving a special mention.
